Chances of getting housing for a spring transfer student?

I was accepted for Spring 2016 I applied for housing but since I am a transfer student Im worried I won’t get on campus housing. Has anyone been in my position before and got housing? Should I start looking for off campus housing? How long until I will be notified if i will or won’t have housing?

You’ll probably get off campus but you should be cool, you have to note that people are probably transferring out of umd or either graduated last semester so on campus housing is more available in the spring semester than in the fall(ya know with all the new freshman’s and what not)

I know this might be a stupid question but is off campus housing covered by student loans?

If you don’t mind me asking. When did you apply and what were your stats?
I applied also and I don’t know what my chances are because my college GPA isn’t the best. All my other stats are great. Everyone one of my

@jessicajpl I’m pretty sure loans or whatever financial aid that you receive can be used for off campus housing if the housing is owned by the university.

I applied priority dead line so before August 1st and I have a 3.8 Gpa
