Hi everyone! I am a junior in High School. I have never taken any study halls and I am in Honors English and History. I have a 3.8 GPA. I am a girl scout with a silver award. I am Programming Vice President in an organization and merchandising vice president of another organization. I have been nominated to do multiple leadership programs and I volunteered for more than 300 hours through my high school career. I worked at a clothing store and I work every summer as a counselor. I am in the National Art Honors Society. I was awarded first place for my play I wrote in ninth grade. I used to play field hockey and pole vault. I have a 1580 on my SATs (2400 scale) and a 1050 (Reading and math). I am now turning to the ACTs and I already got a 23 on my PACTs. What are my chances of getting in? (I am a resident of New Jersey)
Your score are pretty low and while it is true people with those scores have gotten in, admissions has gotten alot more competitive recently. So next year it will be even harder to get in. I recommend retaking the SAT/ACT again. Are you taking any AP classes? Also which campus(NB, Newark, Camen) and what schools(SAS, RBS, SEBS,etc.) do you hope to apply to?
I had the flu when I took them and I am getting my scores back in two days. I want to go to the NB campus and I don’t know what school, I am undecided. No AP. Just Honors
It depends on your scores, grades/classes, and ECs. I suggest you take AP if your school offers them. Also how are your ECs?
