I'm a senior in high school now and I applied to Leeds back in October. In November, they said that they needed additional information before making a decision so I had to send in my first semester grades. I am also an out of state student from a competitive high school. CU Boulder is the only school that I want to go to, and I have been anxious waiting for my decision. The only problem is that my first semester grades went down a little.
My cumulative gpa: 3.23 unweighted
3.28 weighted
Act: 25 superscored
Activities: played a sport every year in high school, participated in a couple clubs, had volunteer work (not a lot, but maybe more than average), have had two jobs in high school, only 1 AP class, I've been in Chinese all 4 years and was inducted into the National Chinese Honors Society

My gpa for this first semester was a 2.92. I took my only AP class this year, so my schedule was a little harder than normal. This had brought my gpa down from a 3.28 to the 3.23 that I have now. I have emailed my admissions counselor multiple times telling her that this is my first choice school and that if I am accepted, I will enroll immediately. I understand that I have a small chance at getting into Leeds, but they say if you don't get in there, you are automatically considered for Arts and Sciences. Do you think I have a shot? My grades must have been good enough that they are still considering me for the business school, but the drop in my grades worries me.

Sorry for the long post, but any answer would be greatly appreciated as I have been very nervous for the wait! Thanks a lot and have a good one!!
