Well I visited SJU about a month ago and I LOVED it to say the least. I'm really hoping I can get in and I'm doing as much as I can to make that a reality. My problem is, is that early in high school I slacked off and I was a really good runner but this year in my junior year I quit to focus on school and now i am playing tennis. But anyways my stats are like this.

3.7/5.5 gpa (I've been getting mostly a's and a few b's this year)
520 cr (wrote my worst essay ever)
570 math
550 writing
That was my first time taking them and I am going to take them again in June
219/558 class rank 39th%
I will have taken 4 years of honors math and next year I'm taking two honors math courses (pre calc, and prob stat)
4 years honors spanish
3 years honors histroy and I applied for Ap US Gov and Politics
3 years Honors english and next year Ap Literature and Comp
4 years college prep sciences

I have already done 2 years of varsity cross contry and indoor and outdoor track and jv tennis and next year I am going to run again all year.

I volunteer to aid in a ccd class each week for 144 hours by my senior year and I am going ot volunteer in the library this summer.

I am also involved in volunteer work for aclub at my school since sophmore year.

Here is my question, What else can I do to get in to SJU? I really wish I could talk with someone from Saint Joe's and tell them how much I want the oppurtunity to go there and how I have changed my study and work habits so much. I want to write about this in my essay but don't want to sound like a pleading little kid. Thanks to anyone who gives advice.
