In the end, I think the Achilles Heel of my application are my Standardized Test Scores. Are they low enough to keep me out? Im also applying to Vanderbilt, Cornell, Washington and Lee, Wake Forest, Boston College, and UNC Chapel Hill. How competitive am I for these schools?

GTown could go either way (where exactly are you appling? SFS?)
All the others you shouldn't struggle with.

good luck!

Haha, I see a lot of myself in your list of stats here! Decent SATs and a huge helping of extracurriculars (including Eagle Scout). I think you have a good chance for Georgetown!

Thanks for the info!

not very good SATs

..are they low enough to keep me out?

No, they won't keep you out on their own, but they're definitely borderline, if it came down to the wire, they might tip the scale against you.

Is that your only SAT II? Because they very, very strongly recommend 3, you're chances would go down quite a bit if those were the only ones you sent.

Yeah, I applied to Georgetown--they require 3 SATII's. I ended up taking 6, in 4 different subjects.

They don't require SAT IIs, but they strongly recommend, as simpson98 said, that you take three. Technically, not having three SAT IIs will not disqualify you for admission.

Your test scores sure don't help you. But being an Eagle Scout seems to turn some admissions officers on. Its a crap shoot, but best of luck!
