I'm currently a junior majoring in Urban Studies and Planning and a minor in History. I'm hoping to go on to grad school for architecture after I graduate in 2013. My GPA isn't great. Right now it's at 2.9, by the end of this semester it should be 3.0. I haven't taken the GRE yet (planning to this summer and early next fall), yet I'm expecting to do decently well. I got a 1260 on the SAT in high school, if that translates at all. I've been an active member of our school's equestrian team for the last two years and have worked at the same job at the school library steadily since the beginning of sophomore year. I've had a previous internship with a large city planning office last summer, and have lined up an internship for this summer as well. I have several glowing letters of recommendation too.

I know with my GPA I couldn't really get into any top-tier schools (not that I could afford it anyway), but what do you think my chances are at a state school with a fairly decent program? I'm looking mainly at those in the mid-Atlantic and northeast regions of the U.S.
