Chances of getting into Binghamton?

SAT: CR: 760 M: 610 W: 690 (2060 total)
GPA: (Unweighted) 95.67
Extracurriculars: Heavily involved in Music - Section leader, marching band, pep band, pit band, jazz band, wind ensemble, flute quartets, etc. I also have other clubs and leaderships - not a TON though. Just a few very solid ECs that I've done for all 4 years of high school.
Essay: gr9
Recommendations: outstanding. I got one from an English teacher who knows me super duper well and is extremely intelligent.

The only thing I'm worried about is the fact that I didn't take a lot of honors/AP in my first two years of high school. But now I'm in all AP. Ugh, I don't want to sound whiny, but my parents had a lot of marital issues during my freshman year that put me under a lot of stress. There was constant fighting as well as numerous threats of divorce, which obviously took a toll on my schoolwork. Thankfully, that's all resolved now. But I feel like I screwed myself over.

Do you think they'd appreciate the upward trend in my GPA? I really started to work to my full potential in 10th and 11th grade; I went from a 92.7 average in my freshman year to a 98.9 in my junior year with 100's in honors and AP classes.

All things considered, do I have a decent shot at getting accepted into Binghamton EA? I love this school and would do anything to get in.

***Edit: My ACT was a 28, but I don’t think I’m going to submit it.

Which school are you applying to?

I think you can be easily accepted into harpur, watson or decker. And probably SOM too with that math score but its not a sure thing, especially for accounting.

@militaryscholar‌ I’m applying to Harpur and plan on majoring in English.

@ncccc1701‌ you should have no problem getting in. good luck!

@militaryscholar‌ Yay! Thank you!
