While Boston University would be my dream school, I've set my sights on Arizona State University.

Current GPA: (Freshman Year: 2.7) (Sophomore Year: 2.3) (Junior Year: 2.7)
Cumulative GPA: (Weighted) 2.6
Class Rank: 349 of 445

While I have not taken the ACT/SAT yet (next month), my practice tests revealed I was most likely going to score a 27-29 on the ACT and a 1800 - 2000 SAT Composite.

I ran cross country my Freshman and Sophomore year and have earned a spot on Varsity for my Senior year. I also played Freshman Soccer and JV Soccer.

I volunteer at the local Children's hospital organizing and assisting nurses, and well as Meals on Wheel and the local animal shelter (APA).

My grades show an upward trend and are continuing to rise, and I expect them to be high next year as I will be taking AP Biology and Biotech engineering, two of my strongest subjects (I have kept an A in my Biology class the entire year).

I'm also taking and doing well in an AP US History class (a B).

My low grades tend to be in Math (Frsh. C, Soph. D, Jun. C+ - B) and I average a C or B in English.

I realize my grades are poor, but I've completely dedicated myself to improving my grades this year and have been successful.

I would be appyling as an out-of-state student, but it's incredibly important to be to get into Arizona State. I'm 100% dedicated to the NROTC program and Arizona is one of the few colleges I could get into with both NROTC and my major.

Thank you.
