Ethnicity: Caucasian
*In-state applicant (applying as a transfer)
Education: I will be graduating from Suffolk County Community College with 67 credits and an associates degree in Liberal Arts General Studies (AA).
Current GPA after three semesters: 3.4 (The reason it isn’t higher is because my first two semesters I was a biology major taking 19 credits while working 20 hours a week. My classes consisted of Biology 1, Chemistry 1&2, and Calculus 1. I received a B in both chemistry classes, and a B+ in both biology and calculus. All of my grades are A’s and B’s except for one C+ in ANT101.)
This semester I’m taking statistics, macroeconomics, western civilization (graduation requirement), and a secondary level english course.

*Took many AP and honors courses, and I was a member of each individual subject honor society, as well as the National Honor Society.
*I also have many extracurriculars with leadership from owning my own martial arts school from the age of 13-19 (long story), being a ROTC squad leader, organizing my own care package drive for Soldiers and Marines currently over seas, I’m a camp counselor at a volunteer camp for kids who have lost parents and other loved ones, varsity baseball team captain, as well as many others.
Background: From what I’ve researched, it seems like CUNY Baruch College is a fairly difficult school to get into with an acceptance rate of 27.9%. Because of the location, value, and cost of tuition cost (a little over $6,000 per year) it would be an ideal choice for me if I were accepted. Over the summer I got a great job at a bank, which has loads of opportunity in the finance sector which is why I’ve directed my course-load in my second year of college towards finance and business. I’m hoping to get into Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business once I finish my pre-reqs, but that will only be possible if I get accepted to CUNY Baruch College first (obviously).
Any and all feedback on my chances of getting in is appreciated. Thank you. (And I am open to answering any questions that may assist in your opinion.)
