Chances of getting into Exeter, Loomis, Choate, Cranbrook, and St. Andrew's

Hey guys, I was wondering what yall think of my chances of getting into the listed boarding schools.

So I will be applying to tenth grade, I am a white male from Nevada.

I have taken the most advanced courses available for my entire academic career.

In eighth grade I had all A’s and a B
In Seventh grade I have all A’s a B and C

My current classes and grades in ninth grade:

Anthropology honors
English honors
Algebra two honors
Spanish two(no honors variant)
Biology honors
Weights(no honors variant)
Piano(no honors variant)
Health(no honors variant)
Theology(no honors variant)

My lowest grade is in math(94)- I HATE the way she grades assignments- math usually is my highest, anyways the rest of my grades are between 96-101.

I have been playing guitar seriously for a little less than a year

I began piano this year

I have been playing tennis for 6+ years, I act as an assistant coach for my coach, I have received emails from several of the coaches informing me that they believe I will be a great addition to their varsity team. I prefer not to go into detail for privacy reasons but I understand if more information is desired regarding my tennis.

I mentioned my willingness to participate in crew, squash, and track(squash was suggested by one of the tennis coaches).

I helped lead a community service event to help give independence to a young girl with cerebral palsy through mechanical means.

My recommendations, I suspect are good. I also submitted an additional personal recommendations from one of my former teachers that I had a close bond with, and from my tennis coach.

I believe my essays are well written and “good.”

My interviews went very well, one of them lasting for hours.

I was able to visit and tour St. Andrews, and talk and meet with another person in the admissions department.

I did an additional “interview” with the tennis coach at St. Andrews, it went very well.

I suspect my parent statements were good, haha.

There was no testing requirement, and I was actually told by my interviewer to skip it as it will not matter- so I skipped it(partially due to technical issues).

If this matters my father went to MIT, Harvard, and Stanford.

I really appreciate the time any of you take to read this and respond to me.

I hope everyone stays safe and had a good holiday season,

Thank you!

I would be shocked if you don’t have some choice in March.

Oh, I forgot to add, I applied to Exeter and Choate last year with a significantly worse application and got waitlisted at both. Will that help this year?

Thanks.

It can help in that it shows resilience and a commitment to attend BS. Hopefully, your app will show growth. But in and of itself, it won’t move the needle much.

Okay, thank you! If you had to say, which school would you think I have the highest chance at?

Cranbrook has the highest admission rate of the schools in your topic heading.

I guess that’s true haha.
