I'm a senior in Rhode Island going to a really good public high school and I have the following stats:
GPA:3.1 out of 4.3 (Got B's and mostly C's junior year which is why I'm scared I won't get in.)
Took pretty hard classes throughout my 4 years and have taken 2 AP's, World History and Government. Got a C+ in Gov and expecting a B in World History.
Was on tennis team all 4 years and am the captain this year.
Also did theater for several years, freshman and sophomore year was in the production both onstage and off. Am in the French club, but only for senior year.
Have done various volunteer assignments, mostly working with animals, because they are my passion and I want to have a career in animal welfare.
I have ADD, which wasn't diagnosed until right before junior year.
SAT score: 1900/2400
Kids from my school have gotten in with 2.9 and 1450 and with 3.3 and 1700 SAT as well. However, someone with a 3.5 and 1920 got wait-listed!!
I'm also planning to apply Early Action and am undecided on a major.
My chances?!

Did you end up getting in or wait-listed? I only ask because I am awaiting my decision from Marist!

Marist: High match
