<p>I know this looks huge, but please read and answer!
I am a high school sophomore now, but have already toured a bunch of schools because of my older siblings. I am an aspiring nurse practitioner, and have my heart set on Northeastern. I have a 3.76 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and definately intend for it to stay high(er). Here's a look at my schedule:
Freshmen:
World studies
English 1
Algebra 1
Physical science
Spanish 2
Foods technology
Graphic design
Art
Freshmen seminar
Gym
(every elective there is mandatory/needed to graduate except foods tech, which I took because I thought then I wanted to be a chef.
Sophomore:
Blueprints economics/civics
English 2
Geometry
Biology
Spanish 3
Gym
Health
Journalism
Guitar class
Gym and Heath also mandatory
Going to be Junior:
US history
English 3
Algebra 2
Chemistry
Spanish 4
Anatomy and phisiology
Heath sciences ( and 2 year program that gives you experience, and you become a LNA or EMT at the end, and during the school day go and nursing home or ambulance service.
Senior year!!!:
English 4(or another English elective class)
Pre-Calc or Prob and Stats.. Which would be better?
Anatomy and phisiology 2
Sociology or psych.. Which would be better?
Biology 2
Health sciences 2 (an extension to junior year, work as LNA or EMT)
I have not taken my ACTs or SATs yet, but have taken my PSATs. And got a 1400, bad I know but I didn't study at all, and plan to go to prep classes.
I do some volunteer work, but definately plan to do more, I want to volunteer in a hospital in my area.
I will be a 12 season athlete, 10 on varsity.. Soccer in the fall, indoor track in the winter, and outdoor track in the sprig for all 4 years.
I am also doing a week long nursing camp at a college to get nursing background this summer. And another 4 week one at UPenn after junior year.</p>
<p>Sorry it was soo long.. Do you think I have a chance in getting in? Do you think my schedule is good? Is it bad I don't have any APs? I have noo room, especially with the Health Sciences..?</p>
