I’m really interested in stern business school but I’m not sure if my stats are good enough. Could someone please tell me how likely it is for me to get into stern???
Intended Major at Stern: Finance, Marketing or Business Economics. I also plan to double-major in Computer Science
UW GPA: 3.8
Weighted GPA: 4.1
Class Rank: 37/574
ACT: 31 (English: 35, Math 33, Reading: 26, Science: 30) (i took the december SAT and the october ACT hoping that my scores might improve)
Rigor of classes: i would say its pretty difficult. I’m taking 6 APs right now and I took 6 as a junior and 4 as a sophomore
AP Scores: AP Calculus BC: 5 with 5 AB Subscore, 4: AP US History, 4: AP English language, 4: AP Psychology, 3 AP Computer Science
Extracurriculars: I’m the president of the feminist club at my school and I do a lot of activism-related activities. I co-founded
a club that aims to increase voter turnout in 18-24 year olds. I’m the treasurer of our school’s Mu Alpha Theta. I’m the junior representative of an indian organization that helps preserve indian culture in america. I’m also in and participate heavily in many other social justice clubs like Project Town and Gay-Straight Alliance. I’m in my school’s Young Democrats also. I’m in National Honors Society and Beta Club. Outside of school, I do lab research. I’m a member of my school’s ethics bowl team. I’m also part of a madrigal group at my school that requires rigorous audition processes.

I went to Girls State and got selected to attend my state’s governor’s school.
Recommendations: I would give them an 8/10 (One was from my econ teacher, and the other is from my former calculus
teacher. I did well in both of those classes)
I’m an Asian (Indian) Female from the $150000-$199999 income bracket from a well-known school in AR.
I feel like my ACT is kind of low and that my GPA could be better. I’m hoping that my score might go up afterwards. Since NYU has a flexible testing policy, do you all think that it would be better if i didnt submit my ACT score?
I love NYU and NYC and getting in would be a dream if possible!
