Hi I am a 15 year old Indian male applying to PEA for the 2013-2014 school year as an 11th grader. I will be applying for financial aid. I currently study at the International School Bangalore in India although my parents live in the United States and I am originally from New Jersey (I am a US Citizen). Could you please tell me my chances of getting into Phillips Exeter Academy as getting in would be a dream come true.

My school follows the IGCSE (9th and 10th) and IB (11th and 12th) curricula.

I have 9 subjects and my grades are as follows: (A* = A+)

Additional Math - A* (hardest math course offered basically algeb. II + pre calc + calc AB)
Biology - A*
Physics - A*
English Literature - A*
Economics - A*
Mandarin Chinese - A* (I have been learning for 5 years)
Drama - A
Chemistry - A
English Language - A

My principal gives out Principal's Commendations for excellence. I have never missed any for academics and currently have 12 PCs after just one year in the school.

I am currently ranked in the top 5 in my class (I'm quite sure b/c as of December 2011 I was #2 and my grades have improved since then)

I have been a boy scout for 5 years and I am an Eagle Scout.

I have many hours of community service for organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Agasthya Foundation. In Agasthya, I went to a rural village in India by myself for about a week and taught health and hygiene to impoverished children).

I won the Presidential Gold Award for community service.

I won 2nd in USA in the National Science Olympiad held in Augusta, GA. My school overall came 3rd and I had the highest medal on the team that year. This was when I was still in the US.

I am a member of my school basketball team (no JV/Varsity in my school).

I am a member of my school's Model United Nations team and I was one of only four people selected from my grade last year. (I made the team this year too).

I am part of my school newspaper's staff (No 10th grader can be an editor)

I gained admission into the Davidson THINK Institute but because of financial reasons, could not go.

I interned in a big hosipital in Delhi in the neurosurgery wing and witnessed many operations and dealings with patients. I interned directly under the head of neurosurgery there and I have a letter of reccomendation from him.

I know my teachers quite well as well as my guidance counselor and I am sure my reccomendations will be good. (One question--I have last year's reccomendations (same teachers). Can I send them?)

I took the SAT in 7th grade and got an 18--something (I don't have the score report handy). I scored over 90th percentile in all 3 sections (99th in Math) last year on the PSAT and I will be taking it again in two months. In eighth grade I got a 2250 on my SSAT (that was a long time ago).

My school is very well known as an IB school and despite being in India, we send many students to Ivies each year.

Could you please tell me what my chances of admission into PEA are?

Thank you so much for your help,
