I'm a white/hispanic male, currently In 7th grade at a public school(I have been in the public school system all my academic life).I'm in all the advanced classes currently offered at my school.I have only gotten 5 B+'s since 6th grade, and I have gotten 37 A's since sixth grade. So out of 42 grades I've only gotten 5 B+'s and 37 A's.
I take modern ballet, and classical piano. I'm also a student council member for one of the two teams of our 7th grade class(you can only run for your own team). I'm also a part of my schools Art Club and Chess club. And I plan on playing football next fall(8th grade team). And I am doing the John Hopkins Talent Search(also known as CTY) for my high state standardized test scores.
As for my SSAT test scoresmm, they are not know yet since I have not taken the SSAT yet. But I will be getting an SSAT tutor along with studying on my own at home. I think I will get at least in the 90's for a percentile. Since I seem to do well on standardized tests and have gotten proficient with distinction every time I have taken the state standardized test(since 3rd grade).
And overall I think I have a good personality,(not to sound self centered)social, funny, but still very interested and deeply into my academics. The main reason I want to go to Phillips Exeter is because they have so many exttra-curriculars I want to join to grow myself, but also their rigourous academic course is something I hope to challenge me. Because I believe challenge is what grows us as people.
Please chance and give me any advice you think I will benefit from.

It’s hard to say. My friend got rejected from there, at a competitive private school, number one in our grade, a minority, a ballerina, straight As in every honors there is and involved in lit mag, honor code development team, and many other things. Much like college admissions, it’s really a crapshoot but you seem like you’d have a shot. Just make sure you apply to backups too just in case.

Thanks for the reply!

I also speak french(not fluently but a very advanced beginner if that make sense), and am into singing as well and have taken lessons and might start up again
