Chances of getting into San Diego State? Gpa: 3.71 Sat 1600: 1140

My 10-12 gpa is 3.71 and my Sat on the 1600 scale is 1140.
Sophomore year I had an overall gpa of 3.64, however second semester I had a 3.86.
Junior year I had an average gpa of 3.84, I took AP Language and Composition, Chemistry, and Precalc.
My senior year I am taking two AP's.
I definitely have an upwards trend with my gpa, do they consider this?
I live in California but not near San Diego.

According to their website the average gpa was 3.82 and average sat was 1150. My sat score is close to this but my gpa is not as close.

Is you GPA of 3.71, your CSU GPA? Also have you calculated your EI? Intended major?
(CSU GPA x 800) + (SAT CR + SAT Math). Depending upon your major, you want to have an EI of 3900+ to have a good chance at SDSU. STEM majors will need to be in the 4100+ range. Upward trends are good. Calculate your EI and CSU GPA and will chance you.

You should be fine.
