<p>I'm a junior and definitely considering Syracuse, specifically their New House program if I apply ED.
GPA: 3.6
ethnicity: african american..in a 99% white, public high school
currently taking 2 APs, and taking 4 next year.
ACT: 24 ..going to retake it, aiming for high 20s..
Extra Curriculars: currently in my 4th year of varsity tennis, organized a fundraiser basketball game freshman year for the earthquake in Haiti, Spanish and French Club since freshman year, volunteered at an orphanage in the Dominican Republic for a week while on vacation last year..(planning on doing more things this summer)</p>
<p>I say you have a shot. I suggest you finish strong the rest of high school, meaning it would help a lot if you get mostly A’s. Extracurriculars look good, keep it up. And the essays you will need to submit in your application are a great opportunity for you to show your strengths. I have a friend who had similar stats as you and got in. But she finished really strong, so I suggest you do the same. I hope this helped!!</p>
