I'm stressing out, so any opinions would be helpful. I submitted my final application to TAMU on November 18th, but College Board just sent them my SAT scores on December 21st. Here are some of my statistics:
SAT total: 1520
Critical Reading: 550
Math: 460 (yikes...)
Writing: 510
*I have been in band for four years, varsity marching band for four years and the concert band for four years. I participated in the jazz band for one year. I was section leader for three years, and squad leader for one. I have been in the honors band (top band) for two years now.
*I have done UIL academics all four years of high school. I participated with UIL News, Feature and Editorial writing for two years, and UIL spelling for two years. I also did UIL math for one year.
*I was editor-in-chief of my school paper for two years, and supporting page editor for one year.
*I founded a club at my school, Redefining Beautiful. We have over 100 members.
*I participated in Leading Individuals For Tolerance (LIFT) for two years.
*I did charity work at my church and in the community.
I also wrote all three essays. But I'm in the top 33% of my class, and my SAT score isn't that great. What are my chances at getting into TAMU's political science program?
