Chances of getting into Tufts and Holy Cross plus others

I'm a junior and am just trying to consider my chances of getting into Tufts, Holy Cross, North Eastern, and Muhlenberg. Also looking for other college suggestions. I am looking into biochemistry but that might change.

I am 9/100 in my class (small class especially for a public school)
I have a 97.7 GPA weighted (my school just converted to numbers so I am not sure what it is unweighted)

SAT:
CR: 600
M: 590
W: 580
Planning to retake them, also taking the ACT this month.
A.P.:
European History-4
Statistics
English Language
U.S. History
waiting on the others, thinking at least a 3 on all of them

Next year I am doing a program in my school that allows me to attended the local community college for half my day, taking classes in English, Psychology, Child Psych, Government, and Macro-Economics.

EC:
3 years on Rowing - stroked girls varsity 8 as a sophmore, NYSSRA (New York State Scholastic Rowing Association) Scholar 2 seasons and expecting 2 more
Interact Club
Honor Society
French Club
Volunteer at local hospital
Band, Choir
Girl Scout since Kindergarten

I also have a question since my school went from letter grades to number grades they "say" on our transcripts they will give us the benefit of the doubt and give us the highest number to the letter grade. e.g. A+ would be 100 etc. Will that help me at all or were they putting unneeded emphasis on it?

I doubt it will be a huge deal.

Post back once you get your new SAT scores. The ones you have now will likely you rejected from Tufts at least.

Tufts is a reach. Good chances at Muhlenberg and Northeastern. Not sure on Holy Cross. Others to possibly check into are St. Marys College (MD Honors college on a bay), St. Lawrence (NY), Allegheny ¶, Providence, Wheaton (MA) and Washington & Jefferson ¶. Best of luck!

Poi :My cousin goes to Allegheny, so I doubt he would want me to go there  Thanks for the other ideas.

Lol! Also Union (NY) and if you are willing to travel Wooster and Denison both in Ohio.

I think you have an awesome shot at Holy Cross!
You take challenging courses while maintaining an excellent GPA.
Your ECs are diverse and they love students who are involved with activities and volunteering.
Plus, Holy Cross is actually test optional so if you don’t end up liking your score, you have the choice of not sending it.

Good luck! :)

Thanks Jenonymous, I defiantly like Holy Cross for the crew team and I see that you’re a student now, its nice to see someone who got accepted to college
