I will be finishing up this semester with possible a 3.2-3.4 depending how I do this last semester.
I have experience with editing and cinematography. I am looking to specialize in editing. I have joined the Student Government at my college campus (Los Angeles Harbor College) which provides a transcript notation and I am “first reviewed and prioritized” when reviewed for my applications. I also created a student vs faculty baseball event on my campus. This will be my third year at community. I figured if I have a gap semester my best option would be to do the UCLA Extension program for Editing classes to get a certificate and to build my resume/experience. Is doing this Extension program going to help me out with admission into UCLA? I already have experience with editing, but I want to have something to show for it…
I am also applying to CSULB, LMU, and Chapman.
Thank you everyone. I appreciate it.
[Edit] I also work 20 hours a week, and have always been a full-time student. Is there anything else I can do to buffer/pad my app?
