chances of getting into UCLA?

During my freshmen year, my grades were poor. I get mostly C's and D's. I'm a sophomore now, and my GPA is 3.7 (because of my one C). I'm aiming for a 4.0 this semester and throughtout my Junior year. Also, my extracurriculars are Library Service Club and Key Club (no officer position) and I'm planning on joining the Newspaper next year. (I'm still getting use to high school). I volunteer at the local pet shelter, and I am also planning to be a camp counselor during the summer. I have about 300 service hours.
Also, next year I'm planning to take 5 AP classes and take college courses during the summer.

Can you tell me what I should improve on so I can make my chance for UCLA bigger?

Oh and if it helps, I'm Asian and I'm the first in my family to decide to go to college. Please reply! :]

Upward trend will help, but a lack of EC will not. If you can pull your UC GPA to ABOUT or ABOVE a 4.2 capped and a 4.3 uncapped, then you will have a decent chance. As long as your SATs are ABOVE their 50% overall ( so mid 2100s), then you’ll be fine.
