I’m really interested in transferring to UGA for fall 2016. I will be a junior and will have completed 47 credit hours by the time of the application deadline. The required GPA with 30-59 credit hours is 3.2, and I currently have a 3.65. So far this semester I have A’s in all of my classes, so I’m shooting for a 4.0 The only thing that worries me is a made a D in Pols 1101 because of the TERRIBLE professor I had. Its not like me to make a D in a class, but majority of the class was in the same boat as me. Same thing happened in pre-calc and I made a C and math is usually my strong point. I retook POLS 1101 and made an A, but not sure how the D will be taken into account for my UGA transfer GPA. I know my GPA is high enough and I don’t expect to make anything less than a 3.8 this semester, I’m just still worried. I don’t really have a back up plan yet so hopefully this works out!
