Chances of getting into UGA

I recently got deferred back in December and was wondering what my chances were of getting accepted.

ACT- (my superstore)
Composite: 25
English: 26
Math: 25
Science: 24
Reading: 27
Writing: 6

GPA: 3.77
After this year, I will have taken 3 out of the 4 AP classes offered at my school. Also, I have taken numerous honor classes throughout my high school years. I have at least 50 hours of community service. I am a member of many clubs and participated in Varsity basketball for 2 years. I know my ACT score isn't very high but I would say it's average. but I know that UGA has been harder to get into lately and I would like to know my chances. Please let me know what you all think. And don't be afraid to tell me the truth because I would rather want to know what to expect than to be fully disappointed.

UGA: Match (aim for 1850+ on the SAT)

You have a very good chance!!
I think the ACT should suffice

What does UGA: Match mean?? I’m new to this website.

xoxosammy, I was deffered as well. Your numbers are something to be proud of and I think you have a decent shot of getting into UGA.

I am curious what you and others think about my situation-
-3.45 Unweighted GPA
-3.5 Dual Credit GPA at the University of Washington (30 Credit Hours)
-1910 SAT (1310 Cr+M)
-4 AP classes, with 7 ‘University of Washington’ classes… See above 30 credits.
-Various ec’s, with above average essays. My chief concern is that I am a Washington state resident… I think very highly of UGA and would almost certainly accept an offer of admission.

Majones36, I think you have a good chance of getting in. I just got my decision today so hopefully yours will be arriving very soon.

A match is about 40-60% chance to get in.

hey guys i know ur getting tired of people asking for their chances, but it would really be appreciated right now. I have applied regualr decision with a 3.33 unweighted gpa :frowning: . My SAT is an 1890 M+R 1280. I wll graduate having completed 8 AP classes. I have played football all 4 years and wrestled one year. I was a member of Model UN and took first place in a FBLA region competition. I realize that my gpa is fairly low but was hoping the number of APs ould help. Every thought positive or negative would be greatly appreciated
