chances of getting into UPenn Nursing

<p>Hey guys! Let me know what you think my chances are if I am applying to UPenn School of Nursing early decision!</p>

<p>3.83 unweighted gpa, 4.4 weighted</p>

<p>ACT Scores:
-34 English
-32 Math
-33 Reading
-26 Science</p>

<p>5 on AP English last year, and I am taking AP Bio, Lit, and Psych this year. </p>

<p>-I intern at my local hospital
-National Honors Society / Science National Honors Society
-Girl Scouts, I was just awarded my Gold Award
-President of my high school's choir
-Just got the lead in the school play
-Heavily involved in theater/drama/choir
-been on the honor roll all for years
-mostly honors and AP classes. </p>

<p>what do you guys think?? be honest. thanks!!!!</p>

<p>You have a shot, Ivies are tough for everyone, especially in a competitive program like nursing, but I’d say that you have a chance. I would get my act science up a little and add one or two more leadership positions to be more competitive if possible. </p>

<p>It’s hard to say because ivies are very competitive as are nursing programs, but I would say a 5 or 6! You’re a solid candidate but again ivies are tough schools. Doing anything you can to make you stand out from the rest helps so make sure your essays are great and unique- good luck! </p>
