Chances of getting into USC or UCLA

<p>Hi, I am currently enrolled in 2 year community college.
I am going to transfer to a 4 year university.
I am international students and a woman.
My intended major is computer science or computer engineering.
I know I am a big dreamer. (and I have a lot of pressure coming from my family.)
I really wanted to get into USC or UCLA.</p>

<p>But I really feel down after reading the average GPA of students admitted.
For USC and UCLA it was 3.7!
And my current GPA is only 3.35</p>

<p>What do you think I can do to increase my chances to get into USC or UCLA?</p>

<p>Raise your GPA, write really good essays, and remember that the average is not that meaningful by itself; unless you also have the standard deviation, median is more useful because of outliers.</p>
