Hi, in november i was directly admitted to the kelley school of business at IU; it’s where i plan to attend undergraduate study. my first semester grades were 5 A’s and 3 B’s, which I know is good. This third quarter i have a C in trig, and it might go down to a D. the rest of my classes i have mostly A’s and a couple B’s. What are my chances of getting rescinded from kelley?
Do not get that D. If you keep a C, you are fine. A D could land you in trouble.
Wait, you’re a senior taking trig? Your curriculum might be way different than what I have in NYS.
Trig is confusing initially, but once you get the hang of it you never really forget it. I recommend lots of Khan Academy or extra help with the teacher. I myself had a B+ which was my lowest grade in all of high school but the grade was a B- in the first semester. Just continue to work hard and even if you are rescinded from Kelley, they’ll probably still let you into IU and then have you apply after your first year.
You’re fine for sure if you get a C, and most likely are fine if you get a D assuming it doesn’t prevent you from graduating or anything like that. But I would definitely try to get at least a C
