Chances of Job or Graduate School

Hello, I am currently an undergraduate Chemical Engineer at The City College of New York. I am graduating next spring and I am having a hard time deciding what to do after graduation. How hard is it to get a job in Chemical Engineering in this job market with a a 3.5 major GPA? The only reason I am considering graduate school is because I am scared of not being able to get a job. Should I just apply to Master's Programs, or wait the spring and apply for jobs? Thank you,

If you try to go into the job market now, and can’t find a job right away, it will just get harder and harder to find a job the longer you are out of the work force. I would recommend applying for a masters. You’ll learn more interesting stuff, be more marketable, and hopefully be entering the workforce at a time when the economy is doing better. You may even find that you want to do more research and go for a doctorate degree after getting a master’s. Good luck with your decision.
