Hello, I'm an 8th grade student from Germany. I can speak fluent English, German, basic Spanish, basic Mandarin and this is my third year of French. I've played harp for a year now, I took piano lessons for two years. I take part in my schools Science competion programm and have been in a class rep for two years. I love swimming, though I am not part of the local swimming team, due to time differences. I go to an International school. I've been part of our School's newspaper for two years now. My 7th year grades were mostly A's, and one or two B's. I plan to take my SSAT on November 10th, and have already scheduled my interviews. I've been in our school's cross country team for two years now. My best subjects are Science, Humanities and Literacy. I think what's most important is my personality though I am a very curious, caring and bright person. Oh, and I'm bolivian, lebanese, american and german.

Nobody can answer your question with certainty.

If you are full pay and get say 85% or higher on the SSAT, I would say your overall chances of acceptance are 20% at PE, PA, Deerfield, and SPS just like all other full pays. Maybe 30-40% at Hotchkiss. Some would say lower but I think FP would slant your overall chances of acceptance to one of these schools.

If you need financial aid, chances are almost zero as an international student.

Why not try? Just have a backup plan. Or, apply to a few less selective schools that you would happy to attend.
