What are the chances of me getting into McCombs? I am also in state so I have automatic admission into the college, but not my major.
@utaustinlover Composite won’t matter as much for admission to McCombs as what your math score section was.
What was your math score in both the SAT and ACT? Same with critical reading for the SAT and your combined essay and english score for the ACT.
@TheAvidSeeker 700 math, 650 reading and writing combined (new scale) Essay: 21/24
Right now I have been getting 34/35 in math and 33/34 in reading (i have not taken it yet)
New SAT scores are believed to be inflated slightly since there was no guessing penalty and only four answer choices. You should be good though because you have good extra Curriculars and leadership positions
@danfer91 If she had a 33 on ACT, what would you say admission chances would be for her. Also, why do you say she has a 50/50 shot? Given her rank/auto admit status, isn’t it a shoo in for her? Plus she has good extra curriculars.
