Chances of getting into McCombs?

<p>I was accepted into UT today, but only into the college not into the actual school. What are my chances of getting into McCombs? </p>

<p>SAT: 1980, 1920, I took the recent october SAT and feel good about it.
ACT: 28, 29.
Class Rank: 15/730, 2.04%.
GPA: 6.75/7.00 = 3.86/4.00
Senior Schedule: Calculus BC AP, Biology II AP, English AP, Government/Economics AP
Extracurriculars: NHS, Key Club, SNHS, Spanish Club Student Council, FCA, Young Life, Football, PALs, Youth Group at Church, and some others.
Community Service: 515 hours over 4 years.
Leadership: Camp Counselor, FCA officer, Key Club Officer, Sunday School Teacher.</p>

<p>I feel like my essays are strong and I have good recommendation letters. My second choice major is Liberal Arts - Psychology. When do acceptance letters usually come in? Thanks in advance guys!</p>

<p>I’m not familiar with the business school but I would think you have a decent chance. They’re implementing a holistic review policy this year so it’ll likely take a while before you get any word back from there. My guess would be March or later.</p>

<p>Apart from your SAT being below 2000, you look like you have a good chance of getting in. What were your AP scores though?</p>

<p>The SAT scores may hurt you tbut the rank and ECs are good.</p>

<p>When did you complete your honors application? And have you been scheduled for an alumni interview?</p>
