Chances of neurosciences grad programs at...

<p>I currently have:
3.14 Gpa
690Q/510V/4.0A Gre
6mo research experience
3 strong letters of rec from PIs
(working on getting some stuff published)
SoP mostly about research over everything else</p>

<p>Thinking about applying to the following PhD programs:
UC San Diego
UC Riverside
U of Michigan
City of Hope (Did do some clinical research; the safety school)</p>

<p>Notes:
Out of school 5mo and haven't found any other research experience to add in that time</p>

<p>What are my chances? It is even reasonable to apply to UCSD?</p>

<p>Made a mistake on GPA actually have a 3.19 if that makes any difference</p>

<p>Wish there was an edit button on here. Anyway, I’ve done some snooping and chatting and for all four schools my chances aren’t looking good (especially UCSD).</p>

<p>I’ll apply anyway due to the magic of fee waivers and in the mean time continue job hunting so that I can afford to work for free. Maybe next year or after next I’ll be a more viable candidate.</p>
