Chances of Transfer Acceptance at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor?

Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on transferring to the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor LS and A after a year at U of M Flint and also any input you could give of my probable chances of admission.

Here are some statistics of my academic history to help:

-currently a first-year student at U of M Flint
-current GPA is a 4.0
-graduated high school with a 3.7
-ACT score was a 27
-applied to U of M Ann Arbor as a senior in high school and was deferred, wait-listed, then eventually denied
-had countless sports and extra-curriculars in high school
-will have a little over 26 credits after first year

Any general advice on transferring, my application, or admission would be greatly appreciated.

UM doesn’t look at anything except you marks for transfer applications - in LSA.

I’d say with a 4.0/3.7, rising Sophomore - you’re looking A-OK!

Why UM specifically? Just curious =D.

Good Luck!

I’m a commuter right now to Flint which is tough. The Ann Arbor campus just opens a lot of doors for people who can’t afford an out of state transfer.
