Hi all!

I am currently a student at Stark State College (a 2 yr college) in Ohio and will hopefully be graduating with my AA in Communication in Spring 2013. I really want to continue my education for my Bachelor's at MSU, but I'm worried that I will not get in. I don't have that many volunteer hours, but my current GPA is a 3.8 and my ACT score was a 21. I believe there will also be an essay that I would need to complete with my application to transfer. My strong point is writing, so I am confident that I will do well with the essay.

My concern is that my credits will not transfer, therefore, leaving me to possibly having to re-take some Communication courses or not being able to get accepted at all. I have used MSU's credit transfer guide to see if any of my courses from Stark State will transfer over, and only ONE course does! This worries me!

I would just like to know what my chances are of getting in. I know that I am at a very good standing point with my GPA, so I would hope that that is all it takes. Please help me!
