I've been at a community college the last two years and while my GPA started out atrocious, I have managed to bring it up. However, it is still not above a 3.0, even though that is sure to change after this semester. In order to graduate from the two year college I am at now, I need to take 2 summer credits. I plan on taking 6 total and seeing as I pass everything that I am currently taking, I will have 67 credits by the end of the summer. Now onto my GPAs and scores. I graduated from high school in 2012.

High School GPA unweighted (we didn't offer any AP or Honors classes) : 3.42
High School Class Rank : 17/65
Current College GPA : 2.88 (will increase after this semester and summer)
ACT : 19
SAT : Have not taken yet, will take in June

I know that my ACT score is low and my college GPA is not up to UCONN's standards, but my GPA will go up after this semester and my cumulative should go above a 3.0. If I take the SAT in June, will it matter towards my admissions and/or acceptance for the fall of 2014? If I take summer classes, will those be counted as well towards the fall? I need at least two of them to complete my A.A. degree, which I am getting in the psychology program.

I know my chances are probably small right now, but if I get my college GPA up and a fairly good score on the SAT, do you think transferring to UCONN is attainable? Let me know what you think!
