Hi! I am a freshman at a private university in Ri, hoping to transfer to UCONN next year. My college gpa so far is a 3.2, SAT 510/590 ACT 23, high school gpa 3.34. I am applying undeclared. What are my chances of getting in as a transfer? I was initially accepted to the Waterbury Campus but did not want to commute. Do you think I have a chance as a transfer?

You have a chance, but it would be best if you increased your college GPA. If you don’t think you can increase it substantially, then I would recommend retaking either the SAT or the ACT.

Of course, you have a chance, but you will have a better one if you do the above.

I plan on working really hard for the gpa increase my downfall was math this semester my grades were A ,2 A- ,2 B+,but a C+ in math. No math next semester!

Got in!!!

Congratulations!
