Hi everyone,

I am currently a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. However, I plan on transferring somewhere closer to home, and UConn is one of my choices. I'm worried that I may not get accepted, though, because I struggled a great deal my first semester. I ended up failing one of my classes and getting a D+ in another one, giving me a 2.26 GPA. However, I was in marching band first semester which took a lot of time out of studying. Despite my low GPA, I did exceptionally well in high school, getting a 3.6 GPA with an 1820 on my SATs. I also applied to UConn before, last winter, and was accepted. Do I even have a chance of getting accepted?

Thanks everyone.
