I know it's a reach school for me probably and nobody can ever predict ones chances of getting into schools. But from my credentials, do you think I even have a chance?

Race/Ethnicity: African American (Nigerian to be specific)-- Dual Citizen
Extracurriculars: Sports, Music, Model UN, Community Service Corps., Volunteered at the top Children's Hospital in the nation (300 applied, only 60 got in total), other clubs as well.
GPA: 3.7 weighted (reason why penn is probably a reach for me, but I do go to a prepartory high school with very high prestige so it's more difficult to achieve a grade such as that)
SAT: Need to take my last one in a week, so I'm not exactly sure what my final score will be. Although my last SAT was good (not great). Taking the SAT Subject Tests (Biology and Math)

My school doesn’t give unweighted GPAs. That’s the thing. I spoke to my guidance counselors and they told me they only give weighted GPAs to the colleges (the GPA that is on our transcript). They don’t rank us either because our school is really competitive and only about 50% of applicants get in, so I guess it’ll be unfair to rank us.

College of Arts and Sciences to be specific. And @TypeRA I really don’t know what it is weighted out of. I have an idea, but I don’t want to give away incorrect information.

Do you know your class rank? That’s what’ll really help. If they see a 3.7 weighted GPA, they won’t care about that if you’re still in the top 10%-ish because they’ll know it’s hard to get better than that in your school. If you’re a low rank in your school, however, they’ll like that a lot less.
