Chances on being accepted to brown university

Hi, I’m brand new to this website and was wondering if my academic record was plausible for Brown, university of Chicago, Berkeley, and princeton (perhaps these choices are too optimistic). I was recently accepted into U of Mich. I don’t even know if this is the right place to post this stuff, so I’m sorry for any inconvenience. I know that university of Chicago superscores the act.

-Act history in chromatic order: 24, 25, 24, 30, 30

  • Act superscored: 36 math, 33 English, 28 reading, 30 science, 32 composite

-School ACT average is around 26 and School average gpa is around 3.4. Its a very small private school with 63 people (yes, only 63)

-Gpa unweighted: 3.98
Gpa weighted: 4.19

  • Our private school offers no AP and very few honors. I took all honors available at our school except 1 (back in 9th grade)
  • I have dual enrolled (our school doesn't have dual enrollment; I did it separate from my school) in 4 classes so far with all A and plan to dual enroll in 4 more before graduation.

Extracurriculars:
-Classical piano/composition
-1st clarinetist in our school band, although our band has really no prestige and this position is next to meaningless
-Amateur astronomer
-President of Student council
-Captain of varsity soccer team and recipient of 1st team all conference; goalie
-Tennis

  • Member of school math field day team (in an individual event, I got 2nd place for small schools statewide)
  • Tutor in physics, chem, math, bio, English
  • Community service awards
  • Worked as intern at Kettering University
  • School representative to rotary club
  • Shadowed at several medical institutes
  • distinguished student award (a school academic and community service award)

Your ACT score might be slightly on the low side and nothing really stands out in your ec’s but your high gpa will help

You really took the ACT 5 times? Did you take any SAT2’s? Given the small number of students and lack of advanced classes, I’d expect colleges to look for outside anchors or validation to use to understand the meaning of the GPA. The SAT2’s would do that. Without outside validation, it is hard to know how to interpret the GPA.

Ya, never been good at standardised tests, so I took the act until I got 30. if colleges see all those acts, will they like the determination and upward trend or dislike all those low scores?

I never took a subject test, and I don’t think i can take one anymore (I’m a senior). Should I just not apply to those schools If my chances are too slim? I already applied to Mich State, univ of michigan (accepted) and UCLA.
