Hey,
I’m planning on applying to a undergaduate program at university of Toronto engineering (haven’t decided on what engineering program). However I am a US applicant and I don’t know if I will make it in.
My unweighted gpa will be about a 3.93 and the end of my senior year, and around a 4.1/4.2 gpa at the end of my senior year( assuming I get a 4.0 both semesters of my senior year) . Right now it is a 3.89/3.90 unweighted and a 4.093 weighted
I’m in mostly AP courses from my junior year with me taking AP US history( as a sophomore), AP Chemistry, AP World History, AP micro, AP macro, AP Lang ( all in my junior year). I have also been in as many honors/advanced programs offered in freshman/sophomore years. Also, my senior year I am planning on taking AP Env Sci, AP Stats, AP Physics, AP Comp Side, AP Calculus. I have generally averages low 90s to mid 90s (95-96), with all my ap classes being at least a 93 or higher so far except APUS which was 89.5 for one semester (96 next semester)
I have an ok amount of Extracurriculars with me being the president of science olympiad and chess club, while also being involved in DECA, Model UN, National Honors Society.
However, I only have a 1450 on my SAT (out of 1600) (770 on math and 680 on English ) With a 14 out of 24 on the essay or a 1440(750 on math and 690 on English) on SAT with a 18 out of 24 on the essay. I don’t know if my SAT is high enough for UoT, what do you guys think? I have one more chance on retaking it so you guys think it is worth it? And if so what score should I try getting?
