Chances on UIUC?

<p>I wish to apply to the LAS Actuarial Science program at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and would like some feedback.</p>

<p>Weighted GPA (5.0 scale): 4.294 [should be around 4.39 by the end of this year]
Class Rank: 24/373 (6.43%) [should also be higher due to the GPA increase]
ACT: 25 [hoping to move it up a couple points when I take it again]

<p>Thanks in advance for your comments. It would be much appreciated if you know anything about the U of I's Actuarial Science program with regard to competitiveness, difficulty, etc.</p>

<p>Your gpa and rank look very good. Also, it is good that you are retaking the ACT as it will only put you in a better position and many kids go up the second time they take it. I would try the SAT also. Some other schools to possibly check into too are Nebraska, Purdue, Iowa and Ohio State. Best of luck!</p>
