chances oos?

Hey guys! So I know getting into UVA out of state is incredibly difficult, but unfortunately I fell in love with their business program last spring. I was wondering what you think my chances are of getting in?

SAT Scores: 2100- 680 math, 720 CR, 700 writing (1400 math and CR)
GPA: 3.9 unweighted 4.3 weighted
AP's- 6 total (US history, Statistics, Government and Politics, Calculus AB, Spanish)
Activities:
-Vice President of Student Council
-Vice President of Interact
-Spanish Club
-Soccer (jv for 1 year, varsity for 3)
-Winter and Spring track (jv for 1 year, varsity for 3)
-National Honor Society

-I was also my schools Herff Jones Principal Award winner

i also think I have a pretty unique interest (I am a singer songwriter), and I was wondering if it would be helpful or hurtful to send in a CD of my songs?

Thank you so much! I've been freaking out about college lately, and any help or advice would be very much appreciated!!!

Reach because of your scores. Since you’re out of state they tend to look at that more

thank you for your honest opinion!

I mean that’s basically what my college counselor told me as well. I’m applying too. She said that it’s more about the numbers if you’re an OOS applicant than in-state. But then again, you never know right?

exactly, its worth a shot! hopefully if we write some killer essays we’ll get lucky! good luck to you, I hope you end up at a college you love!

That is not true. The SAT scores are in the ballpark. Dean J has posted here many many times explaining they look at all applications holistically. I would send in the CD. Write good essays. Good Luck.

If by CD you mean the UVA Arts Supplement, then you have most likely missed the December 1st deadline for those supplements. I would definitely email the music department and see if they would accept any late entries.
