<p>Hi, I'm applying for Andover, Exeter, Deerfield, St. Paul's, Groton, and Milton. Could someone please chance me? C: Thanks.</p>

<p>General:</p>

<p>In 8th; applying for 9th
White (European) female
I was born in the Czech Republic and moved to the U.S. when I was 7
Can speak Czech (native) and English (second) fluently
No financial aid needed</p>

<p>Grades:</p>

<p>Our midterm report cards haven't come out yet, but these are the ones from first quarter:</p>

<p>Honors English: 96%
Honors Science: 100%
AP Math: 97%
Social Studies: 100%
Band: 100%
Spanish: 100%</p>

<p>The midterm grades should be around the same.</p>

<p>I have a problem, though: in my first quarter in the 7th grade, I had a C. Will this affect me too much?</p>

<p>Other:</p>

<p>Last year in the CRCT (our yearly exam) I made a perfect score in Language Arts and missed one question each in Math and Reading.</p>

<p>ECs:</p>

<ul>
<li>I've been playing Clarinet in my school band for the past three years. I made Top District Honor Band this year and last year.</li>
<li>Academic Team (2 yrs): we haven't had any tournaments yet this year, but last year our team won first place in county</li>
<li>Webdesign: I do this at home, but I've created a study website for my Honors classes classmates, and most of them use it frequently</li>
</ul>

<p>Awards:</p>

<ul>
<li>Top District Honor Band for 09-10 and 10-11</li>
<li>CPA and DPA public speaking contest first place in 6th and 7th grade</li>
<li>7 reflections art and literature awards in my school, 5 in my county (I won some sort of reflections award each year starting in second grade except for this year)</li>
<li>3rd place in GA art contest (6th grade); award presented by former President Jimmy Carter</li>
<li>was debate team captain for in-class debates, and my team won each time</li>
</ul>

<p>Sports:</p>

<p>I don't play any sports atm, but I used to play soccer for two years. I had to quit because of my parents' schedules, and I'd be very willing to go for it again. I also did TaeKwonDo and AiKiDo for about two years each, had to quit because of parent schedules as well.</p>

<p>Interviews:</p>

<p>I have no idea how to rate how Milton went, Exeter and Groton went well, haven't had interviews with Andover, St. Paul's, or Deerfield yet (scheduled for Jan 12-14)</p>

<p>SSAT:</p>

<p>not taken yet, scheduled for Jan 8th</p>

<p>Recommendations:</p>

<p>Should be okay, but I have a problem with my EC recommendation for Exeter: all my ECs are either at-home or in-school. I am very reluctant to let my band teacher fill out my EC rec, because I do not feel I can trust him.</p>
