chances - please help!

<p>im nervous as hell about my college situation - it is as follows</p>

<p>White Male from very well recognized NJ public school</p>

<p>GPA = about 3.58
- that puts me in the 5th decile at my school =(</p>

<p>SAT I = 670 Verbal
670 Math</p>

<p>SAT II = Math IC = 610
US History = 650
Writing = 720
E.C. - Varsity Soccer (1 year)
- Varsity Track (2 years + this coming spring)
- Varsity Wrestling (4 years, 2x Captain
- Marching Band
- Eagle Scout <-- I heard this colleges love this
- Volunteer at American Pro Se Association</p>

<p>Others - National Merit Commended
- National Honor Roll
- "Who's Who of High School Students" <--Is this just B.S.?</p>

<p>Colleges - Cornell - Applied here E.D., my brother and grandmother went here
- BC - EA
- Villanova - EA
- Michigan at Ann-Arbor
- Syracuse U
- Lehigh
- U Penn - Wharton - Grandfather attended and used to lecture here
- ? - Any suggestions</p>

<p>Wharton - basically a no, but the others you shouldnt have a problem..but for Umich, since you are out-of-state, if you dont send that in by like next week you'll have no chance, they already started sending out letters.. goooood luck!</p>

<p>your 3.5 puts you in the bottom 5% of your class? How nuts is your school?? we might do the decile thing differently, but we say "oh i'm in the top 12% and the 88 decile." am I just misunderstanding?</p>

<p>decile, at least at my school, is the group of 10% that you are in. For instance, if i were in the top 14 %, then im in the second decile. thank you all for your advice</p>
