I know my EC's are weak but I am moving before my "senior year" and will definitely be more active there, seeing as I will need to meet people anyway.

I'm looking at:
-UNC Chapel Hill
-UGA
-Liberty
-Cal, San Diego
-Wake Forest
-Georgia Tech
-Vanderbilt
-NC State
-NYU
-Miami

I know some of these are undoubtedly reach schools, but what do you think my chances are, honestly? I know there's a lot, but thanks in advance!

As a Georgia resident I think you have a slim chance into UNC-CH because they accept around 75%-80% applicants and online around 20% out of state, so you would need to have superb scores and EC’s there. NC State is less leniant on out of state but they are still selective for out of state, especially if you apply for the school of engineering. Wake is about the same as State but it is a private university. I live in NC so I know more about those but i’m sure your scores and EC’s are good enough for the Georgia schools. I think Vandy, Cal, San Diego, and NYU are all reaches. Don’t know much on the other school.

Good luck.

Sorry, I meant to say UNC-CH accepts around 75%-80% in state, and 20% out of state*

Chances are extremely slim at Vanderbilt and UNC CH- GPA and SAT scores are not up to par. Even if you get your SAT up, your GPA is very low.
