Chances, please!

<p>hi! I'm an in-stater (I live just outside A2), and just finished applying. (My app was finished mid-november, but wasn't "completed" until jan 5th, due to incompetent GC!)</p>

<p>ACT: 33 (perfect verbal, not-so-perfect math)
GPA: 3.91, but less if you take out orchestra. My Michigan GPA is probably around 3.5 or 3.6.
I have taken the hardest courses available (5 APs by end of the year).
ECs are good, rec should be excellent, and essays are good (not great).
Also, I applied to LSNA.</p>

<p>No. 1: when do you think I will get a decision? and
No. 2: will I get in?</p>

<p>Oh, GPA is unweighted, and class rank is probably top 15-20%.</p>

<p>You will most likely hear back in late February or in early March. As for your chances, I'd say Michigan is a match for you. Your GPA is below average for Michigan but your ACT is above average. You really should have applied in August or September. I'd say your chances had you applied then would have been much better.</p>
