I know that my ACT is low, but do I have any chance at all? I am finalizing my list of schools that I will apply to in the fall, and I want to know if I should bother to apply to UMich.

Any advice/recommendations are appreciated :)

At least hit 29 or 2000 on SAT and you are in. You are in-state---> huge star.

what they are looking for is a complete class. They only want to take so much of one type of person.
Apply to michigan. I know someone who got in that had the same ACT score.
You should also apply because michigan is the best college in the world. GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Josife, Michigan does not usually accept students with ACT scores below 26. If they do, it is because of a particular characteristic (URM, Division I level super athlete, child of a mega-important legacy, world-class artist or performer, exceptional student with horrible test taking skills etc...).

Wolf, your GPA and class rank are good, so you obviously have a chance. But as long as your ACT remains below 26, your chances will not be that good. Now, if you told me you were a Hispanic American, I would tell you that your chances are decent.
