GPA is around a mid 97 weighted, but should be higher by the end of this year. 92 UW
I will have taken AP English I, AP English II, AP Psychology, and AP Biology by the time I graduate. (2 junior year and 2 senior year).
SATS- 690 reading, 680 writing, 610 math (taking again and TRYING to raise)
ECs: -Varsity winter track every year, varsity spring track every year, varsity soccer my first 2 years and varsity soccer my last 2 years
- Teen summer volunteer at the Hosp. of the Univ. of Penn (this will be my 3rd summer)
- Member of a community service club at my school, History Honor Society, and a club to promote girl's education
- I will be captain for cross country/winter track/spring track
-I am an event planner for the club to promote girl's education
Any advice?</p>

<p>As you probably know, UVA is highly competitive for OOS students. Your GPA is a bit low, and though UVA highly recommends at least 2 SAT subject test scores, I think that it would look better to take the tests and submit those scores as well.</p>
<p>Sports may be an extra hook for you if planning on continuing, and are at the Div I caliber. However, for an OOS student, I would also agree that your GPA and scores appear a bit low, as do your APs. They will also look at how well you did on the AP exams, which you don’t mention, and how your course scheduled compared to what’s available at your school. Meaning if you only had 6 AP courses and you took 4 then you took a rigorous courseload. But if 18 were available and you took 4, then you did not. Remember that scores aren’t everything, but UVA is extremely competitive for OOS admissions. Based on the info you supplied, I’d view UVA right now as a reach school.</p>
