<p>Extremely involved in theater - several performance based awards, director of outreach for school thespian troup</p>

<p>Hands for a Bridge - student exchange group that uses the arts to dialogue around issues of segregation and conflict. Traveled with the program to Northern Ireland (junior year), serving as alumni/new programming coordinator (senior year)</p>

<p>West Side Story Project (junior year) - collaborated with Seattle Police Department and local theater to organize a youth summit using themes in West Side Story to discuss gang violence and socio-economic divisions in Seattle. Presented the project to a group of 300 police chiefs from around the world at the Police Executives Research Foundation conference in Chicago.</p>

<p>I am guessing: theatre major? NU has an incredible program, imho.
