<p>Hello! I am applying to University of Illinois: Urbana Champaign, Southern California, Villanova and Case Western. I would like to recieve a merit-based scholarship for all of these (and possibly honors program for UIUC).. what are my chances for this?</p>

Ethnicity: Bulgarian (now US Citizen, moved here in 2nd grade)
Major: Mathematics</p>

<p>Academics:
GPA: 3.97uw/4.92w
Rank: 1/510
ACT: 32 (but with a low 8 on the writing..)</p>

<p>AP Courses by the end of this year: 7
Currently have taken
AP Calculus BC: 5
AP US History: 4
AP English Language: 4</p>

<p>My essay is decent--I can never judge my own work fairly, so to be safe, assume that it is just an ok job, or even a slightly poor job. Could I still manage to snatch a few merit scholarships or a space in the honors college?</p>

<p>In at all. I don't know very much about the scholarships at the first three, but I would think you would get something pretty substantial at Case. I mean, I don't really recommend Case as a school, but it works for some people. I could be biased since it's so freaking close to me.</p>
