Stats-wise, you are a solid applicant to Wash U. However, the reality is that Wash U gets over 22,000 very qualified applicants like yourself (for only about 1,330 spaces), the overwhelming majority of whom are waitlisted. If you are seriously considering Wash U, then you need to show them exactly how interested you are. They are notorious for preferring students who really want to be there to those who are obviously using them as a "safety to an ivy". I suggest visiting the campus if you can (or at the very least attending any info sessions held by Wash U reps at your school or in your area). Also, applying ED is the ultimate show of interest, but isn't for everyone.
